Tim Richardson creates pictures acutely attuned to their time. They embody our relationship to the world we are making and that makes us, with his subjects synthesizing the physical and the virtual in a seamless fusion.

Richardson works internationally as photographer and director. He contributes to several international publications including VOGUE, Dazed & Confused, V Magazine, and Interview.

His recent print campaigns include projects for Estee Lauder, Diesel and Nike. Richardson’s latest portrait work includes Lady Gaga, Rinko Kikuchi, Tao Okamoto, Nicola Formichetti, and LCD Soundsystem.

Richardson’s photographic work has been exhibited internationally and is in the collections of Deutsche Bank, Elton John and the Art Gallery of NSW. 3 books of his photographic work have been published since 2006. His first monograph entitled SPIRITUAL MACHINE, will be pushlished by Prestel Fall 2015.

His directorial work includes film festivals, installations and commercials. Recent commercial clients include Diesel, NARS, Mugler, Givenchy, Kiko, Lexus and Nike. Selected festivals include the VENICE BIENNALE and ONEDOTZERO.
